West Adelaide ball-magnet Laurence Andriani has won the 2025 SANFL U16 Best and Fairest medal, capping off a stellar season for the Bloods’ youngster.
Andriani polled votes in 14 matches, including seven first preferences, finishing two votes ahead of Central District’s Hugo Semmler (28 votes) and eight ahead of Sturt’s Taj Garrett (22 votes).
The SMOSH West Lakes product averaged a phenomenal 36.2 disposals, 5.9 marks, 6.1 tackles and 8.4 clearances and is the first West Adelaide player to win the U16 Best and Fairest Award since it was introduced in 2022.
South Adelaide’s Zemes Pilot, Norwood’s Mason Tambe and North Adelaide’s Harry Tamblyn tied for fourth place, all finishing on 16 votes, whilst North Adelaide’s Blake Amos rounded out the top five, finishing the season with 15 votes.
