West Adelaide

Club Website

Based in the inner western suburb of Richmond, West Adelaide has won nine premierships, four of which came during a glorious run in the early 1900s. The Bloods were crowned Champions of Australia when they beat VFL club Carlton after earning their first SANFL flag. Heroes to wear the red and black include Neil Kerley, Brian Faehse and Grant Fielke, who have all reached Legend status in the club’s Hall of Fame. West’s development zone includes the inner western and southern suburbs, the Riverland and Roxby Downs region in the Far North.
