South Adelaide

Club Website

Based in the southern suburb of Noarlunga, South Adelaide enjoyed outstanding success in its formative years closer to the city by winning eight of its 11 premierships before the 20th century. Outstanding players to wear the navy blue include triple Magarey Medallist Dan Moriarty and six-time best-and-fairest winner Jim Deane. Previously playing home matches at Adelaide Oval for most of the club’s existence, the Panthers have played at Noarlunga since 1995. South’s development zone includes the southern suburbs, Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.
