Zac Milbank's Ones to Watch

Phoenix Foster (Norwood)

Foster gives his coach Michael Knoll plenty of flexibility in being able to play in attack or relieving teammate Alex Van Wyk in the ruck.

Measuring in at 197cm and 87kg, Foster can move around the ground nicely despite his size but has felt at home inside the Redlegs’ attacking 50m arc this season.

The Torrens University SA U18 player has kicked a goal in each of his 10 matches with the Redlegs this season for a total of 24, including three against North Adelaide in the Second Semi-Final last Saturday.

Archie Lovelock (Glenelg)

A smooth-mover through the midfield, Lovelock excels at making good decisions with the ball in his hands.

And it was in his hands 31 times against Sturt in the First Semi-Final as he played a major role in keeping his team’s season alive.

While the Torrens University SA U18 wingman didn’t manage a goal against the Double Blues, he is a natural goal kicker if rotating inside the Bays’ attacking 50m arc.
