Glenelg midfielder Tess Kohn is the Round 4 SANFLW Powerade Breakthrough Player after a strong performance in the centre square on Friday night.
In just her fourth Statewide Super Women’s League match, the first-year Tiger continued her improvement by collecting a game-high 18 disposals against the Eagles at X Convenience Oval.
Recruited from the Morphettville Park Football Club, the 18-year-old also registered seven clearances and laid five tackles, one of which is in the clip below after displaying great persistence.
Averaging 13.5 disposals, five tackles and five clearances this season, Kohn now joins North’s Hannah Ewings, Norwood’s Mattea Breed and Sturt’s Izzy Kuiper in earning a Powerade Breakthrough Player nomination this season.
To be eligible for the SANFLW Powerade Breakthrough Player Award, players must be aged 21 and under at the start of the year and have played six games or less at the start of the season.
