SANFL wishes to congratulate its General Manager of Football, Adam Kelly, on his appointment as Head of Football at Adelaide Football Club.
SANFL CEO Jake Parkinson today said the League was extremely proud of Adam’s success in gaining such a significant role in the Australian football landscape.
“Over the past five years, Adam has had a significant impact at SANFL and on football in SA with his engaging manner, strong work ethic, innovative thinking and passion for the game,” Mr Parkinson said.
“Having led a WAFL club at East Fremantle, performed as CEO of a thoroughbred racing organisation and run his own business, Adam has brought to SANFL a breadth of experience which drove him to challenge traditional thinking where required and, importantly, connect to the many and varied people across football.
“Adam has been a strong advocate for football at all levels in South Australia, including the SANFL clubs and League. During his time with SANFL he has helped to maintain our competition as the best State League of any sport in Australia.
“On behalf of SANFL, we wish Adam all the very best in his next chapter in football and have no doubt he will deliver a highly successful football department at Adelaide Football Club.”
