SANFL is pleased to announce the extension of its longstanding partnership with Australian sports apparel manufacturer Burley Sekem.
The multi-year partnership extension will see Burley Sekem continue to produce all on-field and off-field apparel under the Sekem brand for all SANFL state teams, umpiring, talent, multicultural and First Nations programs.
In addition, it will produce all SANFL staff apparel, including staff workwear for the SANFL-owned Mosaic Hotel at West Lakes.
For the first time this year, the Sekem brand also will be worn by the SA Wheelchair Football team competing in the 2023 Wheelchair AFL National Championships in Melbourne from November 1. It was also the first time the APM State Inclusive team donned Sekem matchday kits at the recent AFL National Inclusion Carnival in Queensland.
SANFL Chief Executive Officer Darren Chandler said the new partnership agreement renewed the longstanding partnership between SANFL and Burley Sekem.
“SANFL has enjoyed a long and successful association with Burley Sekem and we look forward to our partnership entering a new era,” Mr Chandler said.
“With now close to 1000 umpires across our State League and in junior ranks and over 100 SANFL staff delivering footy competitions and programs in every corner of the State, the Sekem brand will certainly continue to grow its presence in South Australia.”
