South Australia will field at least two fresh faces for its third 2024 Marsh AFL U18 National Championships match against Western Australia at Alberton Oval on Sunday.

Now with a 1-1 win-loss record after defeating the Allies by 12 points and succumbing to Victoria Country by eight points, the Croweaters will aim to return to the winners list with a victory against the Sandgropers from 10.05am.

Coach Tony Bamford has opted to provide opportunities to Woodville-West Torrens pair Charlie West and Harry Dodd, who come in for their first game of the tournament.

West, a strong-marking key forward, will replace Tallan Rosenzweig at full forward while Eagles U18 captain Dodd, will look to provide some dash from the back pocket.

SA’s extended interchange bench will be trimmed to five players after the team’s training session on Friday night.

Following the contest with WA, which will be streamed live at AFL.com.au and the AFL Live App, SA will have one more match in its campaign against Victoria Metro on Sunday June 30 at Alberton Oval.
