Glenelg defeated South Adelaide by 13 points in a tight Round 10 AAMI Talent League U16 tussle at Magain Stadium.

Although the Tigers led at each change, the Panthers were never out of the contest, but ultimately fell short as Glenelg’s guns fired once again.

Tiger Zane Rooney accumulated 30 possessions for the seventh time this season, Josh Allan booted four goals from 20 disposals and the consistent Jack Gallagher (22 disposals and 11 marks) stood up again.

South’s Kyan Kemp-Laundy helped keep his side in the game with four goals, Mitchell Littlejohn collected 25 disposals and Liam Bell finished with 23 disposals and six inside-50s.

Norwood made it back-to-back wins with a 35-point victory over Sturt at The Parade.

The Redlegs dominated the clearance battle 38-18 and looked in control of the game from start to finish.

Redlegs ruck Patrick Boehm won a game-high 11 clearances, but it was the work of Zephyr Thomson (25 disposals and four goals) and Tyler Hitch (26 disposals and two goals) which helped separate the two sides.

Sturt’s Jesse Nunan (31 disposals and nine rebound-50s) won plenty of the ball at half-back, ruckman Angus Penny managed 22 hit-outs and forward Emmett O’Keefe booted three goals.

Woodville-West Torrens claimed its first win of the season, upsetting Central District by 47 points at X Convenience Oval.

Nathaniel Mercer (21 disposals, 15 marks and four goals) kicked the first two goals of the contest to give the Eagles a strong start before Central steadied in the second term.

However, the Eagles continued to dominate the inside 50 battle, with midfielders Nate Ashley (33 disposals, 10 clearances and three goals) and Tyson Schultz (31 disposals and two goals) leading the way as the visitors finished strongly to record a morale-boosting victory.

Logan Treverton (38 disposals, 10 clearances and two goals) and Braith Hickey (23 disposals and six clearances) did all they could in the middle for Central, while Kobe Menzel booted two goals up forward.

A six-goal haul from Kit Saracino helped West Adelaide defeat North Adelaide by 22 points at Revo Fitness Oval.

After taking a handy 20-point lead into the half-time break, Saracino booted the final four West goals as the Bloods extended their winning streak.

Naman Mittal (28 disposals, eight clearances and a goal) and Hugo Williams (24 disposals, seven tackles and seven clearances) battled hard in the trenches to give West the advantage at stoppages.

North were led by Harry Hobby (23 disposals and five clearances), Chace Bowman (21 disposals and one goal) and Cooper Jolly (10 disposals and 36 hit-outs).
