A dominant second half helped Glenelg defeat Norwood by 27 points at Alberton Oval in Round2 of the AAMI Talent League Boys U16s.
Both sides had patches of momentum in a tight first half, but the Tigers put the foot down after the main break and found plenty of avenues to goal.
Glenelg midfielder Zane Rooney was influential at stoppages winning nine clearances from 26 disposals, and he was well-supported by Jack Gallagher (33 disposals and 10 inside-50s).
Glenelg gun Ryder Linder continued his fantastic start to the season by booting two goals from 30 disposals and teammate Eddy Ottoson-Crossling nailed three majors.
Zephyr Thomson stood out for the Redlegs with 25 disposals and three goals while Kalani Fraser (25 disposals and 9 clearances) and Lucas Maschotta (21 disposals and 11 rebound-50s) also impressed.

A standout performance from Fergus Vogt helped South Adelaide defeat Woodville-West Torrens by 51 points at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.
South booted the first five goals of the contest before Eagle Ayden Topp finally got the home side on the board.
The Eagles tightened up in the second term, led by Alexander Darcy (33 disposals and eight rebound-50s) and Tyson Schultz (21 disposals and eight rebound-50s), but the resistance only lasted so long as the visitors cruised to a comfortable victory.
Vogt took seven contested marks and nailed four goals in a terrific aerial display and teammates Lachlan Gill and Darcy Campbell-Kearney were busy once again.

A fast-starting West Adelaide recorded its first win of the season with a comfortable 42-point triumph over Central District at X Convenience Oval.
In a rematch of last year’s U16 Grand Final, the Bloods slammed through the first nine goals of the game with Ned Rudston and Samuel DePalma dominant.
Bulldog Jake Jones kicked three second-half goals as Central managed to stem the flow of West majors, but by then, the scoreboard damage had been done.
West’s Naman Mittal was pivotal in-tight and finished with 24 disposals, two goals and seven clearances, while Bulldog duo Braith Hickey and Logan Treverton both gathered 28 disposals.
North Adelaide produced a strong team performance to defeat Sturt by 39 points at Thomas Farms Oval.
Hugh Kellaway got the home side off to a flyer by goaling within a minute as Sturt led by six points at quarter-time, but it was all red and white from then on.
With midfielders Harry Hobby (28 disposals, 10 tackles and seven clearances) and Tom Laube (19 disposals and seven marks) leading the way, North kicked nine of the next 11 goals to breeze to victory.
Rooster Kade Clark kicked two goals from 15 disposals while Sturt duo Jacob Westley and Hamish Gordon tried hard through the midfield for the hosts.
