SANFL advises that an appeal hearing for Port Adelaide’s Charlie Dixon will be held at Adelaide Oval on Friday June 21 at 9.30am.
Dixon, who pleaded guilty to engaging in rough conduct with West Adelaide’s Jordan White at Alberton Oval, had his three-match penalty upheld by the SANFL Tribunal on Wednesday night.
Attempting to have the Severe Impact grading lowered to High, Dixon’s challenge was unsuccessful as the SANFL Tribunal Panel – chaired by Ian White – deemed the SANFL Match Review Panel’s grading of the incident was appropriate.
Dixon’s appeal hearing will be heard by SANFL’s Appeals Commissioner, Michael David KC.
