By ZAC MILBANK

Kyle Presbury grew up expecting Central District to win premierships.

An avid fan of the dominant Doggies throughout the 2000s, Presbury’s dream was realised when he made his League debut for Central in Round 10 of 2015.

The then 18-year-old would go on to play in a Preliminary Final in his first season, alongside current coach Paul Thomas.

Now 24 and approaching his 100th League game, against Adelaide at X Convenience Oval on Saturday, Presbury is yet to reach the same stage as he did in his debut season.

Speaking on SANFL Radio, the Eastern Park product said he is eager to restore the same level of respect at the Ponderosa, as he represents the next generation of local youngsters to steer the club forward.

Averaging 24.7 disposals at an impressive efficiency rate of 91 per cent, Presbury has taken his game to another level this season after being selected in the West End State squad and ranking inside the top 10 of the Shearman Medal.
