Jovanka Zecevic has never been scared to make change in order to succeed.

Central District’s reliable midfielder initially began her career as a defender with Woodville-West Torrens in 2019.

But a switch to the centre square saw the 24-year-old earn the Eagles’ 2020 Club Champion award as she thrived on finding the footy.

Just as she appeared set to stay at Oval Avenue, the Gaza recruit moved to Elizabeth in the space of a fortnight last year.

Speaking on SANFL Radio, Zecevic paid tribute to both of her SANFLW League clubs in helping her become the best she can be.

Now she is set to play her 50th Hostplus SANFLW League game for the Bulldogs against North Adelaide at X Convenience Oval on Saturday.

With her tenacious and consistent performances, the PE teacher has been a significant contributor to Central’s sudden rise up the ladder as it chases the club’s maiden finals berth in 2023.
