Crows contingent has strong local flavour

By ZAC MILBANK

Adelaide made the most of South Australia’s flourishing talent stocks by snaring eight SANFL players in the 2019 AFLW Draft.

Led by dual South Adelaide premiership ruck Montana McKinnon at pick No.14, the Crows contingent also included exciting young stars such as West Adelaide pair Madison Newman and Chelsea Biddell, Eagle Jaimi Tabb and Glenelg’s Caitlin Gould.

They will be joined by seasoned campaigners in Courtney Gum, Najwa Allen and Nicole Campbell who have all worked exceptionally hard for their opportunity at West Lakes for the 2020 season.

Tune in to SANFL Radio to hear from a selection of the Crows’ SA-based draftees, including former soccer player Campbell and ex-volleyballer Caitlin Gould, who both paid tribute to the development they had received in the Statewide Super Women’s League.
