South Australia’s top wheelchair and inclusive league players recently battled it out at the 2025 AFL Open in Melbourne.

Held at La Trobe University, both teams made their respective grand finals, with the APM Inclusive State team going down to Tasmania by 25-points

The wheelchair team featured players from all four SANFL Wheelchair teams, including three from Woodville-West Torrens, who won the 2025 Novita SANFL Wheelchair League Grand Final, and West Adelaide Wheelchair Coach Giang Danh at the helm.

Players in the APM Inclusive State Squad were selected from the eight teams in the APM SANFL Inclusive League, with Woodville-West Torrens’ SANFLW captain Annie Falkenberg coaching the side.
