Emerging Field Umpire Ben Williams will make his Hostplus SANFL League Grand Final debut in Sunday’s title-decider between Norwood and Glenelg at Adelaide Oval.
After officiating in 21 Hostplus SANFL League matches this season, Williams has been handed his first Grand Final appearance after umpiring a total 52 League games.
Williams will be joined by Sam Morgan and Mitchell Scott after they appeared in last year’s Grand Final between the Tigers and Double Blues.
Boundary umpire Martin Elsegood will celebrate his 200th game in his fourth Grand Final appearance while being joined by Dylan Speck and a pair of debutants in Ben Sieben and Tobin Dolman.
Experienced Goal umpire Tom Sharpe, who has appeared in 205 matches, will wave the flags in his fourth Grand Final while Michael Button returns to the title-decider after making his debut in 2022.
