Umpiring SANFL Juniors

SANFL Juniors, which starts with a modified rules game for under 8s and goes up to under 17.5s, is one of the largest metropolitan junior footy competitions in the nation and where most umpires in South Australia make their mark.

When will I be umpiring?

All SANFL Juniors matches are scheduled either a Friday night or Sunday from late April until September. If you’re just starting out, you’ll be allocated to the younger age groups at first until you gain enough skills, fitness and confidence to progress to older age groups.
