”Jakob’s athletically sound and works really hard both ways, offensively and defensively.
”He’s predominantly a high defender and is really good at anticipating the offence from the opposition.
”He knows when to leave his opponent to go to the ball or to slide back and create an extra number.
”He knows when to peel off to start offence and get a handball receive. Like Max (Michlanney) he sees the game really well.
”He was probably unlucky not to be an (U18) All-Australian, he had a really good champs for us playing as a high defender.
”I think he could play on a wing in the AFL as well. Some of the clubs who have spoken about Jakob to me have said they think he can transfer into a high-marking forward as well. So that’s exciting for Jakob.”
