SANFL is proud to announce that Kia Australia will continue as the League’s official vehicle supplier, also extending its partnership to support men’s and women’s football across all levels in South Australia.

The growing strength and reputation of the Hostplus SANFL Women’s League has been recognised by Kia who is now a Premier Partner of both State League competitions.

The leading vehicle manufacturer, which has partnered with SANFL since 2019, will also continue as a Premier Partner of the Think! Road Safety SA Country Championships.

Each year, SANFL’s Community Football and Game Development teams travel more than half a million kilometres to deliver football programs and support participants and leagues across South Australia.

SANFL Chief Executive Officer Darren Chandler welcomed Kia’s ongoing support for grass-roots football and its increased commitment to SANFL’s elite men’s and women’s competitions, regarded as the best State Leagues in the nation.

“We thank Kia for its unwavering backing of our League and for helping the SANFL to take football and the enjoyment it brings to tens of thousands of people right across South Australia,” he said.

“Kia’s elevation to Premier Partner of the Hostplus SANFL Women’s League is a valuable endorsement of the league and is testament to the strength and quality of the competition.

“Having Kia return as our official vehicle partner is also crucial in ensuring our teams can cover the vast distances of our state safely, reliably and comfortably.”

Kia’s partnership extension with SANFL follows its new naming rights partnership in 2023 with the SANFL and WAFL for the annual SA v WA State Game – one of the longest Australian football traditions between the two rival State Leagues.

Kia has a longstanding partnership with both SANFL and WAFL as official vehicle partner and supporter of grassroots community football.

Kia also continues to recognise the volunteers who provide outstanding service to community football in SA by proudly supporting the Hostplus SANFL Volunteer of the Year Award.

Kia’s General Manager of Marketing, Dean Norbiato, spoke about the important role the SANFL has in connecting South Australians, through a key passion point, with the Kia brand.

“The SANFL has been fantastic in helping us imbed our brand in the SA community, while key media partnerships with the likes of SEN and the Seven Network has allowed us to reach these fanatical footy fans at scale,” he said.

Fans attending this Sunday’s Hostplus SANFL Super League Grand Final will also have the opportunity to explore Kia’s latest vehicles up close, and to the beat of a DJ, at the Festival of Footy Entertainment Zone on Telstra Plaza.
