The mature-age prospect looked the part playing alongside Adelaide’s AFL-listed midfielders inside the centre square in his 14 League appearances this year. After playing in a premiership with Millicent in 2018, Hutchesson made the significant commitment to travel up from the south-east this year to line up with the Crows’ State League team. Tested well at the AFL State Combine, winning the Agility Test with a time of 7.87 seconds while also recording a slick 2.90 seconds for the 20m Sprint.
