Four Croweaters in 2026 AFL U16 All Australian Team

South Australia has had four of its top performers selected in the 2026 Marsh AFL U16 All-Australian Team. 

AAMI SA U16 Team captain Zane Rooney was selected on a wing while one of his deputies, joint vice-captain Jacob Westley, was named on the interchange bench.

Towering Cooper Jolly won the race to be the All-Australian ruck while the AAMI SA U16 team’s Most Valuable Player, Logan Treverton, was listed to start in the centre square.

South Australian forwards Fergus Vogt (11 goals) and Harrison Schubert (eight) could consider themselves very unlucky not to be selected after their impressive campaigns resulted in them combining for 19 goals from three matches.

SA – coached by SANFL Head of Development Heath Younie – finished its campaign in second place with a 2-1 win-loss record, registering wins against Victoria Country (Game 2) and Victoria Metro (Game 3) in Queensland after succumbing to Western Australia in Game 1.
