Three Croweaters have been selected in the 2026 Marsh AFL National Development Championships U16 Girls All-Australian Team after the AAMI SA U16 Girls team won its fourth championship in a row.
South Australia U16 Girls Captain Izabella Nisbet (midfield), vice-captain Mia Wood (midfield), and Scarlett Blethyn (full forward) have been named in the team after outstanding performances across South Australia’s two wins from two appearances.
Nisbet has also been named South Australia’s MVP for the championships, after two powerful midfield performances against Western Australia and Victoria Metro, including a 35-disposal game against Western Australia.
South Australia went undefeated at the championships, defeating the Sandgropers by five points at Thomas Farms Oval, and Victoria Country by 25 points at Shepley Oval in Melbourne.
