The battle for fifth place will be in the spotlight when Round 19 brings the 2025 Hostplus SANFL League minor round to an exciting conclusion on the weekend of Saturday August 23 and Sunday August 24.
With the AFL’s Round 24 fixture for the same weekend now confirmed, SANFL has released its Round 19 schedule before the finals series begins on Sunday August 31 at Adelaide Oval.
After securing victories in Round 17, Port Adelaide and Norwood remain the front-runners to secure the last remaining spot in the Elimination Final with the fierce rivals set to collide under lights at The Parade from 3.40pm on Saturday August 23.
This will allow the match to be telecast live and free on Seven and 7plus following the North Melbourne v Adelaide AFL contest which begins at 12.50pm.
Three other games will be played simultaneously on Saturday at 2.10pm, with minor premier Sturt to be challenged by the Crows’ SANFL outfit at Thomas Farms Oval and Central District hosting reigning premier Glenelg at X Convenience Oval.
West Adelaide and South Adelaide will be aiming to take some momentum into 2026 by winning their encounter at Hisense Stadium.
