North Adelaide continued its excellent form with a 26-point win over Sturt at Prospect Oval in Round 13 of the SANFL U16s.

The Double Blues held a one-point advantage at quarter time, but the Roosters took the lead early in the second term and never looked back.

North forward Russell Pickett-Carbine made the most of his opportunities to kick four goals, while midfield duo Blake Amos (28 disposals and nine tackles) and Harry Tamblyn (26 disposals and two goals) impressed.

Taj Garrett performed well on return for Sturt, gathering 29 disposals and 13 marks, and forward Carter Gallasch booted 2.3 from 16 disposals.

A dominant first half helped Central District overcome South Adelaide by 20 points at Magain Stadium.

The fast-starting Bulldogs had seven goals on the board in the first term, then booted the only four goals of the second term to lead by 59 points at the main break.

South responded well after half-time by kicking nine of the next ten goals to put the pressure back on Central, but the comeback fell short.

Bulldogs ruckman Hugo Semmler was outstanding, combining an equal-game high 26 disposals with 27 hit-outs, nine clearances and two goals in a best afield display.

Norwood made it back-to-back wins with a convincing 52-point triumph over Woodville-West Torrens at The Parade.

The Redlegs tallied 62 inside 50s to the Eagles’ 27 and finished with 10 goal-kickers in a well-rounded display.

Norwood’s Joseph Nak stood tall with 28 disposals, two goals and eight inside-50s and teammate Owen Couzner booted three goals from his 15 possessions.

Jed Remphrey worked hard to generate a game-high seven rebound-50s for the Eagles, who remain on the bottom of the ladder.

West Adelaide returned to the top four after defeating an inaccurate Glenelg by 53 points at Stratarama Stadium.

The Bloods had their noses in-front from the start, and a run of five unanswered goals in the third term put the exclamation mark on an important victory.

The ever-reliable Laurence Andriani was everywhere for West, accumulating 35 disposals, seven clearances and a goal.

The Bloods’ Calvin Jones led the scoring with three goals and at the other end of the ground, Tigers forward Josh Jarrad had his chances but finished with 2.5 in front of goal.
