A terrific final term helped North Adelaide to an upset 38-point victory over Sturt in Round 8 of the SANFL U16s at Prospect Oval.
The Roosters took a delicate eight-point lead into the last quarter before kicking six goals without a blemish to secure the premiership points.
Roosters midfielder Harry Tamblyn filled the stats sheet with 35 disposals, nine clearances and two goals, while teammate Samuel Pedlar’s three first-half goals were important.
The impressive season of Sturt’s Taj Garrett continued, with the prolific on-baller nailing two goals from his 34 possessions.

Glenelg held on to defeat West Adelaide by just two points at Hisense Stadium.
A strong first half saw West take a handy 20-point lead into the half-time break, however a purple patch from Bays forward Josh Jarrad helped wrestle back the momentum.
Jarrad kicked four goals in just over six minutes to change the course of the game, and from there, Glenelg did enough to secure an important victory.
Tiger Zane Rooney was terrific in the clinches, winning nine clearances to go with 24 disposals and two goals.
Central District jumped to the top of the ladder thanks to a 58-point win over Norwood at X Convenience Oval.
Over 13 minutes had elapsed before the first major of the game was kicked by Redleg Joseph Nak, and that proved to be the only goal of the first term as both sides struggled to generate scoring opportunities.
However the Bulldogs snapped right into gear after the break, kicking eight goals in a second-quarter onslaught which paved the way for the victory.
Bulldog Toni Marrone accumulated 29 disposals, eight marks and a goal, while Norwood’s Mason Tambe had a day out with 37 disposals and seven tackles.
South Adelaide sent an ominous warning to the rest of the competition after easily accounting for Woodville-West Torrens by 150 points at Magain Stadium.
The dominant Panthers finished with 22 more clearances, 134 more disposals and 42 further inside-50s than the visitors.
Indicative of the well-rounded display, 12 Panthers hit the scoreboard, but none were more dominant than Zemes Pilot who kicked six goals from 29 disposals.
Skipper Hudson Boal led all-comers with 32 disposals, 13 clearances and 13 inside-50s, while fellow midfielder Oli South tallied 30 disposals and three goals.
On a difficult day for the Eagles, defender Deegan Sparrow gathered 16 disposals and a game-high nine rebound-50s.
