Central District strung together three wins in a row thanks to a 41-point victory over North Adelaide at X Convenience Oval in Round 5 of the SANFL U16s.

The Bulldogs controlled proceedings from start and finished with 59 more marks and ten more inside 50s than the Roosters.

Central forwards Tate Howarth and Brayden Whimpress finished with three goals each, while Billy Nichols kicked two majors alongside his 23 disposals and 14 marks.

Harry Hobby was North’s leading ball-winner with 22 disposals, while Kade Clark collected 20 possessions and kicked two goals.

West Adelaide jumped into the top four with a 20-point win over Woodville-West Torrens under lights at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

A seven-goal first term ensured the Bloods were in command, and despite a goalless third term, it proved a bridge too far for the Eagles to overcome.

The terrific form of Bloods ball-magnet Laurence Andriani continued with the midfielder gathering 33 disposals, 10 clearances and a goal.

His teammate Dean Hatedakis managed 27 disposals and seven clearances, while Eagle on-baller Will Trengove collected 23 disposals and a goal.

South Adelaide returned to the winners’ list courtesy of a 54-point victory over Glenelg at Magain Stadium.

Challenged early by the Tigers, South Adelaide put the foot down after quarter time to run away with a comfortable victory.

Exciting tall Zemes Pilot provided a target in attack and kicked three goals, while fellow forward Kody Burke also kicked three goals from 17 disposals.

Panther Jayce Potter amassed a game-high 27 disposals, while Tim Cain was Glenelg’s best with 25 disposals, 10 inside-50s and a goal.

Sturt proved too good for Norwood as the reigning premier triumphed by 39 points at Thomas Farms Oval.

The Double Blues held Norwood scoreless in the first term and refused to let the Redlegs back into the contest.

Sturt gun Taj Garrett had the ball on a string, finishing with 39 disposals, 12 marks and eight inside 50s, while ruckman Max Anderson dominated with 35 hitouts.

Redleg Thomas Gribben never gave up for the visitors, collecting 23 disposals and laying nine tackles.
