Vale Nerio Ferraro

SANFL is mourning the passing of League Life Member Nerio Ferraro.

Awarded League Life Membership in 1999, Nerio served the Norwood Football Club with distinction, acting as the Redlegs’ President and League Director from from 1982 to 1995.

Nerio then continued his fine service to South Australian football by acting as an independent commissioner on the SA Football Commission from 1991 to 2006.

Joining Norwood in 1981, Nerio was immediately elected as Deputy Chairman at The Parade where he also earned club Life Membership in 1989.

SANFL extends its deepest sympathies to the Ferraro family as it honours his tremendous service to the game in South Australia.
