Star Signing - Georgia Bevan

This time last year the Double Blues were dealt a major blow when former captain and star midfielder Georgia Bevan was signed by the Gold Coast Suns as a replacement player. After managing three AFLW games with the Suns in 2021, the former Crow makes a welcome return to Unley, providing invaluable experience and ball-winning ability to the youthful Sturt line-up.

Former Sturt skipper Georgia Bevan returns to Unley in 2022.

One to Watch - India Rasheed

It’s easy to see why Sturt continues to invest in its local youth when players such as the talented India Rasheed are beginning to emerge. A lovely left-foot kick, the daughter of former Double Blue and pro tennis coach Roger Rasheed is expected to make her SANFLW debut this season whilst also being named in the SA U18 Girls Academy.
