South Australia has finalised its line-up for Game 2 of its AFLW U16 National Championship campaign against the Brisbane Lions Academy on Tuesday.
Set to tackle the Lions from 10.30am at Thomas Farms Oval, Unley, the Croweaters can win their third consecutive U16 Girls crown with victory.
Coming off a gritty 13-point win against Western Australia in Perth, coach Bek McMahon’s charges will again be seeking a fast start as they managed against the Sandgropers before leading at every change throughout the contest.
Tall utility Lara Gribben will again be one to watch for the hosts after booting a goal while also displaying her mobility around the ground while Charlotte Maurits was another scoring threat among seven Croweaters to hit the scoreboard.
SA captain Maia Freemantle and vice captain Lani Cocks were also instrumental in setting the tone early against WA, using plenty of bold, run and carry play to set up attacking forays for their team.
Entry to the match is free and it will be live-streamed via the AFL Play YouTube Channel at the link below.
