SA Football Commission Appointments

The South Australian Football Commission wishes to advise that Commission Chair The Hon. Rob Kerin and Commissioner Louise Small have been re-elected by the SANFL League Directors and will continue to serve for the next three years.

In addition, Nicole Haack, appointed as a Commission member in 2020, has been elected unopposed for a three-year term to fill the vacancy created by retiring Deputy Chair and longstanding Commissioner Tom Zorich.

The three appointments were made at a General Meeting of the SANFL League Directors held at Adelaide Oval last night.

Mr Kerin acknowledged and thanked Mr Zorich’s outstanding contribution to the Commission and football in South Australia over the past 12 years.

“Since 2011, Tom has been a highly respected Member of the SA Football Commission and contributor to the leadership of our game as Chair of numerous SANFL sub-committees,” Mr Kerin said.

“On behalf of SANFL and the Commission, we sincerely thank Tom for his commitment to serving the League over this time. We look forward to his continuing involvement in football in this State, particularly at a Community Football level.”

Other continuing Members of the Commission in 2023 are Janet Finlay, Luke McCabe, Bill Moody and Peter Lindner.

The SANFL Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 14 at 6pm at Adelaide Oval.
