Another Zane Rooney masterclass helped Glenelg defeat Central District by 15 points at Stratarama Stadium in Round 11 of the AAMI Talent League Boys U16s.
The visiting Bulldogs had no answers for the Tiger star, who helped himself to 46 disposals, 13 inside-50s and three goals in an awe-inspiring performance.
Glenelg led by as many as 32 points in the second term, but Central fought back and cut the margin to less than a goal late in the piece before Rooney’s three final-term goals helped secure the victory.
Glenelg forward Edwin Buckland’s three goals were also important, while teammate Will Dower contributed with 24 disposals and a goal.
Logan Treverton (37 disposals, 11 clearances and a goal) was terrific in the middle for the Bulldogs alongside defender Xavier Clark (23 disposals and six rebound-50s) and forward Jake Jones (10 disposals and two goals).

Woodville-West Torrens made it two wins in a row thanks to a strong 31-point victory at The Parade.
After a tight first term the Eagles took control after quarter-time, opening up a handy lead and never relinquishing the advantage despite some inaccuracies in-front of goal.
Eagle Joel Lipson caused headaches inside-50 and finished with three goals, while trio Luke Flaherty, Luke Hunton and Damien Wanganeen each managed two majors.
Harrison Tink stood out for the Redlegs with 34 disposals and eight clearances, Kalani Fraser collected 26 disposals and a goal and Santo Hayman booted three goals.

South Adelaide secured a vital one-point victory over West Adelaide in a thrilling encounter at Magain Stadium.
Trailing by 11 points at the final change, South kicked three goals to level the scores with just minutes remaining, before a Liam Bell behind proved the difference.
It capped off another strong outing for Bell (29 disposals and six inside-50s), who was well supported by Cody Hastwell (24 disposals) and ruckman Rajabu Waziri (11 disposals and 25 hit-outs).
West’s on-ballers Naman Mittal (29 disposals and eight clearances) and Samuel DePalma (24 disposals, 10 clearances and a goal) were typically prolific, while Lachlan Harman gathered 11 rebound-50s.
North Adelaide bounced back with a 32-point win over Sturt at Revo Fitness Oval.
The Roosters started well by nailing the opening four goals of the contest and looked in control right throughout to remain one game clear in second position on the ladder.
North forward Cohen Haines booted four goals as midfielders Kade Clark (27 disposals and six inside-50s) and Samuel Pedlar (25 disposals and nine marks) stood up again.
Reliable Sturt defender Jesse Nunan provided plenty of rebound for the Double Blues, while Aiden Gamba and William Russo combined for 15 clearances and 13 tackles.
