NORTH

North Adelaide will unveil an RAA Rookie for the huge Anzac Day clash at Prospect on Thursday.

Tall key forward Liam Verity (23, 197cm and 86kg) has been called upon to make his debut against the Redlegs after being named to start in the forward pocket.

From the Modbury Football Club, Verity has been joined in the 21 by premiership forwards Lewis Hender and Alex Barns, with the latter sidelined by concussion in Round 4.

Utility Frazer Driscoll returns to the interchange bench after a one-match stint in the Reserves.

They replace captain Max Thring, who will miss at least a fortnight with a hamstring strain suffered against Central in Round 4 while premiership backman Brock Castree (ankle) is also unfit to play.

Ruckman Jack Blair and forward Ben Jarman have been sent back to the Reserves.

NORWOOD

Norwood is set to regain two star premiership players for the Anzac Day blockbuster against North Adelaide on Thursday.

Dual Magarey Medallist Mitch Grigg is a certain starter after serving a one-match ban at the SANFL Match Review Panel for striking Sturt’s Steven Slimming in Round 3.

Captain Jace Bode (shoulder dislocation) must negotiate a final fitness test at training on Wednesday night to ensure he will line-up against the Roosters after being named on the extended interchange bench.

And impressive second-year player Cole Gerloff will resume at half-back after missing the Round 4 win with a glute strain.

RAA Rookie Cameron Taheny, who kicked three goals on debut, is unavailable due to attending the SA AFL Academy Hub camp at Immanuel College this week.
