You could sense the enthusiasm in coach Kelly Barltrop’s voice when talking about the return of Erin Sundstrom for season 2025.
Sundstrom, who is returning from a season away from SANFLW last year, provides plenty of leadership having been co-captain of the Roosters in 2022.
The 27-year-old, who boasts 37 games of SANFLW experience, adds plenty of flexibility in being able to play in all sectors of the ground.
Erin Sundstrom, second from right, is among the captains at the 2022 SANFLW season launch. North fans will be eager to see her return in 2025.
North Adelaide fans would fondly remember seeing P.Turner named on a Thursday night throughout the 1990s.
Now, they are set for a treat again as Polly Turner continues her father Peter’s legacy at Prospect in the Hostplus SANFLW League.
Performing a similar role to her dad as a strong-marking key forward, Polly has already impressed by earning All-Australian honours with the SA U16 team last year.
Expect the 17-year-old to be among those named to play in Round 1 this season.
