Programs

SANFL offers a range of programs to encourage participation in footy. We’re about making footy inclusive, fun and rewarding for everyone. We embrace diversity and believe competitive sport brings us together, regardless of your age, gender, ethnicity or beliefs, there’s a version of footy for you.

  • Indigenous

SANFL runs Federally-funded programs on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north of South Australia, as well as the Maralinga Tjarutja (MT) Lands on the West Coast. It’s all part of SANFL’s “whole of state’’ approach to the promotion of Aboriginal football in remote communities of South Australia.
  • Disability

SANFL is dedicated to ensuring people of all ages and abilities have an opportunity to experience the community support and enjoyment that comes from footy. We offer competitions modified for people with disabilities and supports players, coaches, umpires and officials through a range of programs.
  • Female Come and Try

SANFL and community football clubs across SA are inviting all females to participate in free come & try football clinics. The session will include learning the fundamentals of kicking, handballing and tackling in a fun and welcoming environment.
  • Multicultural

SANFL is dedicated to ensuring South Australians from all cultural backgrounds have an opportunity to get involved in Australian rules football. We offer a range of multicultural programs for people of all ages, including hands-on skills learning in schools, talent pathways and state representative teams and umpiring opportunities.
