Norwood breathed new life into its Hostplus SANFLW League campaign with a statement-making 17-point win against South Adelaide at Revo Fitness Oval.
Gaining great confidence by toppling the reigning premier, the Redlegs have now also entrenched themselves inside the top four with a two-game gap on fifth-placed North Adelaide.
Ben Hunt’s charges led at every change as they also established advantages in inside 50s (32 to 22) and clearances (35-27) while earning 235 more disposals.
Norwood captain Jade Halpenny was outstanding with a match-high 30 disposals, six clearances and 13 tackles while Ashley Baker racked up 26 disposals and six clearances.
Kate Alexander was a difference-maker for the Redlegs, kicking 2.4 from 22 disposals while Coby Morgan collected 15 possessions in her 50th match.
South ruck Soriah Moon continued her influential campaign, chalking up 19 disposals, seven clearances while Esther Schirmer had 19 disposals and five clearances.
Panther Mel Anderson managed a goal in her 50th Hostplus SANFLW League match to go with 10 disposals and 12 tackles.

Central District managed to hang on for a thrilling two-point victory against North Adelaide at Revo Fitness Oval.
Bulldog veteran Georgia Madigan put her side in front by four points when she kicked truly nearly 17 minutes into the third quarter.
And that proved to be enough for the the visitors after Roosters’ skipper Amber Ward kicked two behinds in the last term to give her side an inaccurate total of 2.6 (18).
Central, earning a 27-22 inside 50m edge, was well led by Holly Tralaggan (20 disposals, six clearances) as Shannon Murphy and Shelby Smith each collected 19 possessions.
Madigan, Aoife Berry and Kirra Tonkin each kicked a goal as the Bulldogs banked their second win of the season.
North’s prolific Julia Clark refused to give in as she tallied 30 disposals and a goal while Ella Metcalfe (25 disposals) and former Legs skipper Sophie Armitstead (16 disposals) were also prominent.

Sturt enhanced its finals credentials with a comfortable 37-point win against Glenelg at Revo Fitness Oval.
Leading at every change after kicking the opening two goals of the game, the Double Blues suddenly found themselves behind when Tiger Eloise Mackereth kicked truly in the 11th minute of the second term.
Unfortunately for Bays fans, that would be their last goal of the match as Sturt piled on the next six goals in succession to nestle nicely into third place on the Hostplus SANFLW League ladder.
Star Sturt veterans Izzy Kuiper (27 disposals, nine clearances) and Georgia Swan (25 disposals, 10 clearances) were significant influences on the result while youngsters Ruby Cunningham (15 disposals) and Skout Young (13 disposals, one goal) also did their bit.
Double Blues’ forward Millie McCarthy celebrated her 50th game in style with two goals while teammate Summer Ross also booted a pair of majors.
Glenelg co-captain Asha Dufour battled hard for her 19 disposlas as Isla Wienecke continued her consistent campaign with a team-high 22 possessions, six clearances and 11 tackles.

Woodville-West Torrens turned the screws on West Adelaide to secure a 26-point victory at Revo Fitness Oval.
Now boasting a lead of five premiership points at the top of the Hostplus SANFLW League ladder, the Eagles restricted the Bloods to just one goal for the match after keeping them scoreless in the opening half.
Dominating Westies with a commanding 32-18 inside 50m count, the Eagles also applied plenty of pressure by laying an impressive 96 tackles to underline their relentless workrate.
Narelle Smith’s charges had 3.1 on the board by half-time before Poppy Waterford enjoyed her return from injury with a fourth-quarter major as Klaudia O’Neill put the icing on the cake with her second of the contest.
Eagles ball magnet Alice Tentye collected an equal game-high 34 disposals, five clearances and nine tackles while Waterford tallied 20 possessions to go with her goal and seven tackles.
Former Tiger Marie Martino finished with 18 touches for the Eagles while teammate Tahlita Buethke chimed in with 15 disposals and 11 tackles.
Westies midfielder Zoe Venning matched Tentye with 34 disposals, while also having eight clearances while skipper Madi Russell had 23 disposals and six marks.
West’s Jemima Woods was her team’s sole goal kicker while also collecting 15 disposals.
