The latest wave of young South Australian talent is set to make its presence felt in the Hostplus SANFL League.

As SANFL clubs continue to invest in local players from within, SANFL Media’s ZAC MILBANK reveals which prodigees from the AAMI Talent League Boys have risen into senior ranks for 2026.

Woodville-West Torrens half-back Jack Cook, the son of former Bulldog and Rooster Tim Cook, will be looking to cement his spot in the Hostplus SANFL League after making his debut as an U18 last year.

An SA U18 joint vice-captain, Cook will be joined by a host of fellow SA U18 talents from 2025 including Tim Alver, Luke Candy, Jim Kelly, Sam Ainsworth, Louis Kellaway, Josh Reichelt and Elliot Duffield.

Like Cook, there are a host of SANFL father-son prospects littered amongst the clubs including Central’s Louis Switala (Adam Switala), Norwood’s Jim Kelly (Richard Kelly) and Seb Lennon (Bruce Lennon) and West Adelaide’s Archie Walsh (Peter Walsh).

North Adelaide’s Ben Francou graduates into the Roosters’ senior squad to join older brothers Will and Ollie under the tutelage of father Josh Francou in 2026.
