Promising Field Umpire Harrison Hughes will make his Hostplus SANFL League Grand Final debut in Sunday’s title-decider between Sturt and Glenelg at Adelaide Oval.

After officiating in 22 Hostplus SANFL League matches this season, Hughes has earned his first Grand Final appearance after umpiring a total of 84 League games.

Hughes will be joined by fellow field umpires Sam Morgan and Mitchell Scott, who have both umpired the past two Grand Finals in 2023 and 2024.

Veteran boundary umpire Sean Burton will make his first Grand Final appearance since 2016 while being joined by debutant Jake Creasey. Dylan Speck and Tobin Dolman will return after running the boundary in last year’s finale.

Experienced goal umpire Daniel Hoskin will wave the flags in his first Grand Final since 2007 while Michael Button returns to the title-decider after appearing in 2022 and 2024.
