Glenelg put an end to Central District’s eight-game winning streak, defeating the Bulldogs by five points at Stratarama Stadium in Round 11 of the SANFL U16s.
After trailing for most of the game, Central’s Cooper Tamas kicked truly to put the visitors ahead at the 16-minute mark of the final term.
However, two goals in as many minutes from Tiger Jackson Saunders restored what would prove to be a match-winning lead.
Glenelg’s Sam Baron worked hard in the coalface to gather 20 disposals and a game-high seven clearances, while Bulldog Toni Marrone managed 27 disposals and 10 marks.

Woodville-West Torrens returned to the winners list for the first time since Round 2 with a 30-point victory over Sturt at Thomas Farms Oval.
After a tight first term, the Eagles were able to gain the upper-hand in the midfield and found plenty of avenues to goal inside 50.
Cash Meyers booted a game-high four goals, William Andrea kicked three and James Richardson and Will Trengove both slotted two, the latter also impactful at stoppages by winning eight clearances from 22 disposals.
Double Blues on-baller Mitchell Brook finished with 23 disposals, five clearances and two goals while teammate Lucas Sheridan managed 16 disposals and three goals.

South Adelaide bounced back after consecutive losses to defeat Norwood by 32 points at Magain Stadium.
The Panthers led by just seven points at half-time, but kicked five of the next six goals to separate themselves from the visitors.
South’s Jayce Potter accumulated 31 disposals and eight marks, Caleb Hyland managed 23 disposals and 10 tackles and Joel Wigzell booted four goals.
Despite the loss, Norwood had ball-winners of their own in Mason Tambe (36 disposals and seven inside 50s) and Joseph Nak (31 disposals, nine clearances and a goal).
North Adelaide jumped into the top four with a dominant 102-point win over West Adelaide at Prospect Oval.
The Roosters kicked five unanswered goals in the second term to set up a handy buffer at half-time, before accelerating away as the game progressed.
Seven Roosters finished with multiple goals, Jackson Penney and Russell Pickett-Carbine leading the way with three apiece, while midfielder Harry Tamblyn accumulated 39 disposals, 12 inside 50s and a goal.
Harry Banks led the way for West Adelaide with 28 disposals, five clearances and a goal.
