Central District’s Harry Grant has been handed a five-match penalty at the SANFL Tribunal for engaging in rough conduct with Eagles’ Kade Herbert at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval on Saturday.
Grant, who was referred directly to the SANFL Tribunal on Tuesday, pleaded guilty to the Tribunal panel which included Ian White (Chair), Angus Kurtze and Garry Palasis.
In setting the penalty, Chairman White determined that the Tribunal had to be concerned with the action and injury when penalising Harry Grant, and that an appropriate example needed to be set.
