Norwood’s Aaron Francis has unsuccessfully challenged a one-match ban for striking Glenelg’s Corey Lyons at The Parade on Saturday night.

Francis – who attempted to have his Medium Impact rating downgraded to Low – was found guilty by the SANFL Tribunal panel, which included Anthony Allen (Chair), Garry Palasis and Andrew Culshaw.

He will miss Saturday’s match against West Adelaide at Richmond Oval.

Jones – who attempted to have his Medium Impact rating downgraded to Low – was found guilty by the SANFL Tribunal panel, which included Anthony Allen (Chair), Garry Palasis and Andrew Culshaw.

He will miss Sunday’s match against Adelaide at Stratarama Stadium.
