2025 SA U16 Girls Academy

The 2025 SA U16 Girls Academy has been named as the Croweaters prepare to defend their national championship next year.

To be coached by dual championship-winning mentor Bek McMahon, the Croweaters have listed 49 players from the eight SANFLW clubs, with the squad to be trimmed to 30 after an internal trial match in mid-February.

Training will commence with a three-day camp from Wednesday December 17 to Friday December 20, culminating in an internal trial match at Eastern Parade Reserve, Ottoway.

Post Christmas break, training will begin on Wednesday January 22 at Mitchell Park, with a physical testing day to be held at Nazareth College on Sunday February 9.

South Australia will play two matches, against Western Australia and the Brisbane Lions Academy, in April.
