Checkside Chats with Brad Snell and Violet Patterson

SA U18 Girls Captain Violet Patterson (left) and coach Brad Snell are special guests on the latest edition of Checkside Chats.

By ZAC MILBANK

The all-conquering South Australian U18 Girls team has started off strongly but is hungry for more.

Undefeated in 2023, the Croweaters are eager to win their next two contests against Victoria Metro and Western Australia, after defeating the Allies by 78 points in Game 1.

What makes the South Australian female talent program the envy of the nation?

Which players have been impressing coach Brad Snell to date?

And how has the captain Violet Patterson channeled the advice of her footballing father Stephen, to put herself in a position to potentially be selected by Collingwood as a father-daughter prospect in December?
