Round 5 SANFLW Powerade Breakthrough Player

The tenacity of Glenelg’s Lucy Armitage has been rewarded with the Round 5 SANFLW Powerade Breakthrough Player nomination.

In just her fifth game in the Statewide Super Women’s League, Armitage displayed her versatility in blending defence with attack against the Double Blues at The Parade.

Originally from Morphettville Park FC, the 21-year-old collected 18 disposals at 72 per cent efficiency while also applying plenty of defensive pressure in 10 tackles and 12 contested possessions.
