Star Signing - Elaine Grigg

The lightning fast small forward is a significant signing for Central District, arriving after playing in last year’s SANFLW premiership with North Adelaide.

A master at causing a turnover through her defensive pressure, Grigg’s arrival will soften the blow of missing fellow star teenager Georgia McKee for the season with a knee reconstruction.

Bulldogs coach Ben Hunt as flagged a move into the midfield could be the next step for Grigg, who will relish the space at X Convenience Oval.

North Adelaide premiership forward Elaine Grigg will be an elusive target inside 50m for Central in 2023.

One to Watch - Sophie Eaton

She might only be 15 but Sophie Eaton hasn’t taken long to make an impression at Elizabeth.

Joining the senior squad’s pre-season training, Eaton’s kicking style quickly captured the attention of senior coach Ben Hunt.

Booting more than a goal a game in Freeling’s senior team in 2022, Eaton will be worth keeping an eye on when she lines up with the Bulldogs.
