Glenelg secured the U18 Torrens University Cup minor premiership with a comfortable 55-point win against West Adelaide at ACH Group Stadium.

With just one minor round match to play, the Tigers now sit comfortably at the top of the table with a four-point buffer on second-placed Woodville-West Torrens.

Bays midfielders Darcy Porter (26 disposals) and Lewis Rayson (24 disposals) were significant contributors, as was Hugh Stagg who booted four goals to go with his 19 disposals and seven tackles.

West pair Jesse Thackeray (29 disposals and five clearances) and Dylan White (28 disposals and eight tackles) held their heads high after the loss.

Woodville-West Torrens shared its scoring around as it cruised to a 122-point win against Sturt at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.

Announcing itself as a genuine threat for this year’s U18 Torrens University Cup, the Eagles had as many as 11 goal kickers with six of these contributing multiple majors.

Eagles forward Jordan Lukac led the way with four goals while Dustin Launer (37 disposals) and Adam D’Aloia (34 disposals) worked tirelessly through the centre square.

Sturt’s Jordan Hein fought valiantly to register 30 disposals, eight tackles and seven clearances while teammate Jamie Taylor had 25 possessions for the visitors.

Norwood produced a stunning nine-point, come-from-behind victory against North Adelaide at The Parade.

Despite trailing the Roosters at every change, the Redlegs maintained touch throughout the contest before kicking 3.2 to the visitors’ 1.4 in the final term.

Norwood’s Connor Kent (35 disposals) and Riley Verrall (31 disposals) ran rampant through the middle as Jett Boxer booted four goals from his 19 possessions.

North’s Harvey Harrison collected 30 disposals and eight clearances while Crows’ NGA prospect Blayne O’Loughlin continued his consistent season with 27 touches.

Central District’s Kobe Wilson was the hero as his team caused a one-point upset of finals-bound South Adelaide at Alberton Oval.

Despite his team trailing by 21 points 14 minutes into the fourth term, Wilson stepped up to kick the sealer with a snap shot along the ground in the 22nd minute.

The Dogs lost the inside 50m count 37 to 54 but had Trent Tattoli (26 disposals and two goals) and Thomas Clements (25 disposals) finding plenty of the ball.

South’s Cooper Rogers racked up 27 disposals and seven clearances while Jack Delean again hit the scoreboard with four goals for the Panthers.
