Exciting utility Brooklyn Kraft will have every opportunity to shine with the Eagles, as coach Tess Baxter plans to use her primarily in the ruck and in attack as a marking option. Strong overhead, the 18-year-old boasts exceptional delivery by foot, regularly finding her teammates further up the field.
She might be only 15 but Shineah Goody is already turning heads at Oval Avenue. The Edithburgh product loves to run and carry with ball in hand and isn’t afraid to take her opponents on to navigate out of congestion. Will likely start as an outside midfielder, who can also drift forward and use her clean hands deep inside 50m.
Charlotte Dolan – Midfielder who attacks the ball and contest very hard. Has a strong understanding of her role and how to play the game efficiently.
Brooklyn Kraft – As mentioned above, Kraft will be looking to take her game to the next level with her new team after showing promising signs in the AFLW All-Star match last year.
Jamie Parish – Used primarily as a shut down defender last season, former basketballer Parish is being trialled as a clearance-winning midfielder this year.
Jaida Tabb – The 17-year-old’s leadership qualities are beginning to shine through as she establishes herself in the midfield. Likes to move through traffic and hit targets inside 50m.
