Glenelg bolstered its experience, and top-end talent, in one hit when it secured former Sturt captain Caitlyn Swanson during the off-season. Refreshed after stepping away from Statewide Super Women’s League last year, the 26-year-old can be used through the midfield but will also likely spend large periods in attack. Tigers coach Jason Fairall is well aware of ”Swanny’s” prowess in front of goal, as illustrated in the clip below while playing for the Double Blues.

Piper Window is emerging as a great story of persistence for the Bays. The teenager initially failed to make the club’s U15 development squad but improved so rapidly in the following 12 months to the point she is on the verge of making her SANFLW debut in Round 1. Quick, while possessing clean hands, Window is making her mark on the wing after enjoying the chance to play against the NT representative side in Darwin last month.

Tamsyn Morriss – A medium defender who has the ability to play in a variety of roles for Glenelg. Known for her neat kicking and exceptional decision-making with ball in hand.

Brooke Tonon – Initially made her mark as a small forward but is now developing her craft nicely to move further up the ground on to the wing. Also a nice kick while having the ability to read the play well.
