SANFL Skills – 2021 April School Holiday Program

What is SANFL Skills?

SANFL Skills is a skill development program aimed at U12, U13, U14, U15,  year old boys and girls (born 2009, 2008, 2007 & 2006).

This program has been developed to give players exposure to South Australia’s underage state and specialised coaches that will incorporate a progressive series of skills, drills and education sessions over 2 days (1.5 hour sessions per day).

What is the cost of the program?

The cost of the program is $129 for 2 x 1.5 hour sessions.

What are the details of the program?

Dates: Monday 19th April & Tuesday 20th April

Time: U12 & U13 | 9.00am – 10.30am

U14 & U15 | 11.00am – 12.30pm

 

Location: Thebarton Oval,
1 Meyer Street, Torrensville. Enter through the gates at the Eastern end of Meyer Street

Parking: Street parking is available.

What do I bring?

Players will need to arrive dressed in appropriate football attire (including boots and a jumper/jacket). There will be no strapping available. There will be no changeroom access for changing.

Players will need to bring their own full drink bottles.

What if I miss a session?

There are no refunds for any sessions that a player is absent.

What if a session is cancelled?

If a session is cancelled by SANFL and not re-scheduled, players will be refunded for the session/s missed.

What COVID19 safety measures are in place?

For the safety of all players and coaches, recommended COVID19 safety measures have been implemented for this program. It has been designed within the government’s COVID19 current recommendations for South Australia and the structure has been approved by SA Health. These safety measures include;

  • All players and Parents/Guardians are required to scan in with the Covid QR code, or manually sign in.
  • All players are required to bring their own drink bottle. No sharing of drink bottles is allowed.
  • Parents/Guardians are welcome to view the sessions from the grandstand or outside the oval and must abide by the 1 person per 1.5sqm distancing rule.
  • All footballs used will be cleaned before and after each session.
