Week 2 SANFL Trial Match Review Panel

North Adelaide’s Alex Spina has been suspended for a match at the SANFL Tribunal after being charged with striking South Adelaide’s Phoenix Hargrave at Magain Stadium. 

Spina, who was offered a one-match ban by the SANFL Match Review Panel, attempted to have his striking charge downgraded but unsuccessfully argued the impact was low and not medium as originally classified.

North Adelaide’s Oliver Francou has escaped suspension at the SANFL Tribunal after being found not guilty of making forceful front-on contact with South Adelaide’s Angus Bradley at Magain Stadium. 

Originally offered a one-match ban by the SANFL Match Review Panel, Francou successfully argued his case at the SANFL Tribunal and will be available for selection in Round 1.
