Veteran SANFL field umpire Corey Bowen is poised to officiate in his sixth Statewide Super League Grand Final when he takes centre stage at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
Now with a total of 331 games of experience under his belt, Bowen will be joined by Mitch Harris and Thomas Bryce for the title-decider between Woodville-West Torrens and Glenelg.
Harris retains his place after blowing the whistle in the past three consecutive Grand Finals while Bryce returns for his second appearance after making his Big Dance debut in 2019.
Mitch Scott, on the verge of reaching his 100-game milestone, will be the emergency umpire this season.
Experienced boundary umpire Sam Royans will chalk up his seventh Grand Final appearance while Isaac Fishlock will return after making his Grand Final debut last year.
Brayden Theil will be in his third Grand Final while Ben Williams as been selected for the first time in a title-decider.
Matthew Cummins’ incredible record will see his Grand Final tally stretch to eight as he appears for the first time since 2018 while at the other end, Rhys Negerman will appear in his third Grand Final.
